Festival Preview: Community brings Shoreditch & Hoxton together next month

From 3rd – 5th November, Community Festival will be bringing an array of emerging multi-genre talent to the venues of East London.  Taking in the cream of new indie, electro and hip-hop scenes from around the globe, Community boasts over 60 acts performing at venues around Shoreditch and Hoxton.

Rather than a traditional wristband system, Community will be made up of a series of stand-alone shows over the course of three days.  Highlights include former Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster duo Piano Wire playing with London riot-grrl favourites Skinny Girl Diet at The Old Blue Last and Beth Jeans Houghton’s new project Blonde at Village Underground.

The full line-up at the time of writing features Airhead, Andrea, Anteros, April Towers, Black Peaks, Beasts, Beach Baby, Blonde, BØRNS, Boston Manor, Brawlers, Brolin, Clean Cut Kid, Communions, Dreller, Damien Ike, Day Wave, Dead!, DJ Semtex, Eliot Sumner, Fews, Fort Hope, Greg Holden, George Cosby, Huntar, Hacktivist, INHEAVEN, Jim Caesar, Joseph J.
