Video of the Day: The Spook School – I Want To Kiss You

Edinburgh indie-pop four-piece The Spook School release their second album, Try To Be Hopeful, through Fortuna Pop! Records (who had been releasing a seemingly unending torrent of splendid LPs this year) on 27th November.  It’s a splendid selection of noisy, catchy guitar pop that explores themes of identity and sexuality that we highly recommend you seek out on its release.

But don’t just take our word for it, wrap your ears around the latest single to be taken from the album, the joyous runaway glitter train that is ‘I Want To Kiss You’.  The video features the band being pelted with sorbet, which is kind of what listening to the single is like – colourful, sugary and shocking all at once.
