Video of the Day: The Garden – No Destination

One of the eternal clichés of band interviews is their dislike of being pigeon-holed and given labels, so it’s refreshing to find a band that have created their own.  Orange County twins The Garden created the term ‘Vada Vada’ to describe their sound, explaining it as “a term that represents total freedom of expression without boundaries or guidelines of any sort.”

Their latest experiment in Vada Vada comes with the release of their new album Mirror Might Steal Your Charm through Epitaph Records on 30th March.  ‘No Destination’ is the first taste of what’s to come – awash with shimmering synths, tumbling drum fills and deadpan vocals and augmented with a video of a face painted court jester on psychedelic road trip, it certainly does the job in ramping up our anticipation levels.
