It’s day 13 on The Joyzine Advent Calendar and after 12 days of Christmas related shenanigans we’ve got an (admittedly slightly late) Hanukkah themed tune for your listening pleasure today.
Canadian indie trio The Burning Hell recently re-issued their 2008 LP Baby through BB*Island on its tenth anniversary and are currently embarked upon a tour of the UK which rolls into London on Friday night for a show at The Ivy House in Nunhead before finishing up at Ramsgate Music Hall on Saturday and heading back home for a few shows on Canadian soil to round off the year.
They’ve provided us with a lo-fi delight for today’s calendar download in the shape of ‘Eight Days and Eight Nights’, a tale of the pleasures of meeting a childhood crush back home for Hanukkah.
