We’ve finally made it to the end! Day 24 and with only a day to go until Christmas itself, we’re leaving you with one final musical gift.
From opening this year’s Joyfest celebrations, to keeping goal for the Joyzine Soccer Six team, to his multiple appearances on The Joyzine Radio Show, we’ve been a big fan of Dexy‘s South London country-punk stylings for quite some time. And with his festive new single ‘Xmas Lights’ having been released earlier this month, who better to sign of the calendar for 2018?
The track, which was released through 3 minute records, comes with an excellent video starring Missy the rescue dog and was produced by Adrian Hall (who also worked with Anna Calvi, Ray Davies and The Young Knives). The pair are currently working on Dexy’s second album, due for release in 2019.
