SINGLE REVIEW: DICEPEOPLE – WASTE

The Camden duo are back with their third single from the highly anticipated album, Wastelands. Following the impressive singles Empress and Elemental, Waste is an anthemic dance track reminiscent of Underworld, enriched with subtle layers of industrial lushness. In fact, this direction might have been more fitting for Underworld after their rather disappointing Strawberry Hotel album. Waste delivers an initial punch, and just when you think you’ve recovered, it hits you again with a beautifully addictive arpeggio. It’s a goth club anthem that demands hands in the air! This could well be their best release to date

The outfit are quietly carving out a niche on the underground darkwave goth scene. As a live experience, Dicepeople’s performances are intense, captivating, and immersive, showcasing the band’s dark electro sound. Recent performances included a support slot at The Lexington for Berlin based Zanias and numerous headline slots at Sirens Cave & Work to Live.
