We should probably declare some sort of conflict of interests at this point, Frauds being our partners in crime for our To Hell With Good Intentions nights at Hoodoo’s in Croydon (the next of which, coincidentally, is coming up soon on 11th November featuring John, Bo Gritz and Ghosts of Dead Airplanes), but we wouldn’t be working with them if we didn’t think they were awesome.
‘Suck Jobs’, a taste of what’s to come from their debut album With Morning Toast & Jam & Juice, is a case in point: a sparse, spidery guitar riff leading into a heavy as hell post-hardcore freak-out, providing the backdrop to the schoolyard humour of the lyrics. And you get to see Chris and Mikey wrestle in their pants in the video – what more could you ask for?
