We’re into the final week of The Joyzine Advent Calendar and for day 18 we’ve got a double helping of free downloads from two bands who we first saw playing on the same bill together back for the lovely people at Rocklands Music in 2014.
Track #1: CuT – For All Eternity
London space punk four piece CuT rounded off the year with a show at The Hospital Club last night, and we caught up with them beforehand for an interview which you can read here.
2016 saw the band unveil a new line-up and a new EP, Mouth to Mouth, was released in the summer. Since then they’ve been working on new material, due to be unveiled in the new year, and played shows at O2 Academy with The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, for the always excellent Blow Up Club at St. Moritz and organised a night in support of Jeremy Corbyn at Nambucca.

Track #2: Mourning Birds – Masquerade
Medway garage rockers Mourning Birds decided to call it a day in 2016. Having twice been guests on The Joyzine Radio Show and with three members appearing as part of Team Joyzine at the Soccer Six music & football fest in 2015, they’re a band that we’ll always remember fondly.
The band played their final show this summer, and following an album and a string of short, sharp singles there were still one or two tracks that never saw the light of day. We have one of them for you today.
