Last year we were introduced to Kyoto-based punk quartet Otoboke Beaver at Damnably Records’ Walpurgis Nacht all-dayer at The Windmill. It was one of the most breathtaking shows we saw all year, and they’re back on UK shores for a mini-tour starting on 1st May with a sold out show at London’s legendary 100 Club.
There’s also a brand new EP to savour, full of the stop start machine gun art punk that made their debut LP such an unparalleled delight – today we have the video for lead track ‘Love Is Short’, a tongue in cheek grindhouse homage that will definitely have you ducking for cover if drummer Pop flings a stick your way at one of the live shows.
Otoboke Beaver play the following UK shows in May, alongside South Korean outfit Say Sue Me:
1st – London ‐ 100 Club (SOLD OUT)
2nd – Bristol ‐ Exchange
3rd – Glasgow ‐ CCA
4th – Leicester ‐ Musician
5th – London – Bethnal Green Working Mens Club
