Former Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo releases his latest solo album Electric Trim on 15th September. ‘New Thing’, accompanied by a video directed by Galaxie 500’s Naomi Yang, is the first track to be shared from the LP. Ranaldo describes the track as “‘my song about the internet’ – about our thousands of ‘friends’ and the obsession with accumulating ‘likes’.
