Superfan 99 Records head honcho Uncle Luc is back with a lovely slice of nostalgic country pop. ‘Bones of the Days’ is a veritable life-story of our narrator and features pedal steel from BJ Cole, who featured on Elton John’s Tiny Dancer and production from Henri Vaxby of Joyzine faves French for Cartridge.
It’s backed by a disarming video, put together for the grand total of £14.99, most of which seems to have been spent on card and yellow sticky tape. We particularly like the information cards that are dotted throughout, which remind us of the fact bubbles that used to appear on the ITV Chart Show when we were kids.
