In a coming together of two of our favourite Humberside talents, Matt Edible & The Obtuse Angels have collaborated with Fonda 500‘s Nicholas Broten to create a charming animated video for dreamy new track ‘(Lullaby)’.
Both artists featured in the first ever online edition of Joyzine back in 2003 and it’s great to see them still going strong. The track, taken from Matt’s recent Stairgazing album is floats along on swooning strings and twinkling glockenspiel, while Broten’s lo-fi computer animated animals frolick from the streets of Hull (with local venue The Adelphi making a cameo) and out into the surrounding countryside.
