London guitar slinger Lara Smiles has been garnering praise from all quarters of the music press of late and following festival shows at Glastonbury, The Great Escape and Isle of Wight in recent years, she’s been building quite the head of steam.
New single ‘The Fighting’s Over’ looks set to continue that upward trajectory, a growling rock and roll beast packed with catchy hooks and a driving beat that’s as likely to pack an indie disco dance floor as it is to incite a flailing moshpit. The self-produced track is out on 26th April through Wonky Pop Records and we’re delighted to present the premiere of it’s video, shot with a suitable restless camera in moody blue monochrome.
