We’ve got lots of exciting plans in store for 2020 and we’re kicking things off with our first live show of the year at one of our favourite South-East London venues on Friday 3rd April. It’s a free entry show featuring bands that regular readers will be well aware of our admiration for.
The last time we saw Joyzine favourites Vienna Ditto plying their intoxicating mix of electro, jazz, gospel and surf rock at The Birds Nest it was supposed to be their last ever gig. Luckily for us they just couldn’t bear to drag themselves away, and a little over a year later, they’re back with a new album Flat Earth and we’re delighted to be bringing them to Deptford for their first London show since reforming.
Brixton DIY scene lynchpins Hot Sauce Pony join them on the line-up. Their Albini produced debut album was at turns powerful and delicate and was one of our favourites of the year. They’ve since been working on new material and we can’t wait to hear what comes next.
We’ll be announcing more acts shortly – keep an eye on our Facebook page for regular updates.
