After a year and a half in which North London’s music venues fell silent, the venerable folk at Camden Rocks have been making up for lost time with a relentless programme of heavy rock all-dayers in their home borough’s finest small music spaces. This week they were back at The Black Heart, with a line-up that included theatrical electro-rockers Branwell Black, atomspheric alt-rock four-piece Liars Teeth, the garage-psych sounds of Tar Babies, Two Pound Tea‘s high energy rock and roll, multi-national blues-rock quartet Dirty Mitts, the powerful riffs of Electric Black and indie rockers Solar Strides. Joyzine’s Rupert Hitchcox was down the front to capture the night’s events on camera.
