Ordinarily you’d find Public Service Broadcasting‘s visually stunning live show in far larger spaces than New Cross’ wonderful but rather intimate Amersham Arms – indeed their next London show is at Brixton’s massive O2 Academy – but tonight a small group of lucky fans get the chance to be up close as part of the Passport: Back To Our Roots project, celebrating the UK’s independent venues by bringing big name artists back to the spaces where they learned their craft. Joyzine’s Rupert Hitchcox was there to capture the action on camera.
Public Service Broadcasting’s new album Bright Magic was released this month and the band go on tour around the UK in October and November – find out more on their official website.
The Passport: Back To Our Roots project continues with shows from KT Tunstall, Metronomy and Ash. Find out more here.
