On June 16th Peach Pit played a sold out show at Troxy, London following the gigs relocation from the O2 Brixton Academy. With support from the upcoming Phoebe Green and reunited band the Walters, the energy was high despite the heat. Opening with a cover of ‘Raining Blood’ by Slayer, Neil Smith kicked things off by jumping into the crowd, carried by fans back to the stage where they then played ‘Being So Normal’, the titular song from their 2018 album that made up a majority of the set list accompanied by songs from their latest album From 2 to 3 and unreleased song ‘Yasmina’. With statement lights and speakers on the floor ejecting bass throughout the room that also served as extensions to the stage, Peach Pit’s largest UK show so far was a hit and definitely not one to miss in future.
