Joyzine In New York: Shelf Lives, Scrounge, Langkamer, Hadda Be & Idle Hours play our stage at The New Colossus Festival next week!

As previously reported, Joyzine is teaming up with The New Colossus Festival to bring the cream of the UK indie underground to The Big Apple as we host the Heaven Can Wait Stage on Thursday 7th March with a line up of five fantastic Joyzine favourites from this side of the pond.

New Colossus will see more than 130 emerging artists from around the globe playing at eight independent venues on New York’s Lower East Side, as well as the Ditto X: NYC24 music conference, from 6th-10th March. Information on the full line-up, venues and ticketing are on the official festival website.

We’re really excited to be hosting some of our favourite UK bands for our first overseas collaboration, and we’ve pulled together a fantastic line-up, if we do say so ourselves. Kicking things off will be Salford indie four-piece Idle Hours, who will followed by the melodic post-punk of Brighton/South London quintet Hadda Be, West Country country rock band Langkamer, South London art punk activists Scrounge and Sheffield dance-punk duo Shelf Lives who will be bringing the night to a suitably chaotic close.
