One of the great things about attending one of the bigger name festivals is the chance they provide for catching virtual unknowns just making their way in the music scene alongside bona fide global mega stars. Joyzine’s Rupert Hitchcox made the most of that opportunity at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, training his lens on everyone from pop icon Justin Timberlake to 80s legend Midge Ure to the plethora of fresh talent on the This Feeling Stage. Taylor toured with the band several times between 1983 and 1990 and appears on their live concert videos In My Mind's Eye (1984) and Going To California. John 'Rhino' Edwards (Bass/Vocals) STATUS QUO Having previously been a member of acts including The Climax Blues Band, Space and Dexy's Midnight Runners, Rhino was invited to join Quo in 1986 and has been permanent in the line-up ever since. He joined Judie Tzuke's backing band, where he was given the nickname "Rhino". Edwards has also played with Peter Green, ex-Fleetwood Mac, Climax Blues Band and Dexya Midnight Runners. Josh Phillips (Hammond Organ) PROCOL HARUM Josh first played Hammond Organ with Procol Harum in 1993 and was the band’s organist from 2004 until they took a break in 2022. He began his career at sixteen playing organ on the soundtrack to Quadrophenia, and he later appeared in the film with his band Cross Section. From 1983 to 1984 he was the keyboardist for Diamond Head. He has written for and/or performed with a wide range of musicians, including Big Country, Leo Sayer, Pete Townshend, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Kenney Jones, Starlight Campbell Band, Ronan Keating, Alisha's Attic, Heatwave, Midge Ure, Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney. Craig Alexander (Drums/BVs) One of the UK’s honest and hardest-working artists, Craig has been a music maker for more than two decades. Writing and performing non-stop, he’s a multi-talented musician known for his drumming, singing and playing acoustic guitar to a wide variety of audiences
