Lambrini Girls

Live review: Lambrini Girls at Latitude Festival, Suffolk 27/7/25

The Lambrini Girls was an unexpected choice for one of the closing acts of “the posh festival”. Perhaps the Latitude organisers were trying to stretch the festivals boundaries and they succeeded.  There was a clear divide between those that decided to stay and watch Snow Patrol and those that made their way into to woods to the Sunset Stage to see the Bristol punk trio.

As I arrived the band were already belting out “Big Dick Energy” while bemused parents herded their kids towards safer terrain.  The bands energy both attracted and repelled. Before long the audience had reached a new equilibrium. This lot were ready to party.

In between the mosh pits and mayhem, Lambrini Girls made it clear: they’re a political band. Their on-stage manifesto was loud and proud—calling for a free Palestine, defending trans rights, and expressing their distrust of the police. It was confrontational, charged, and utterly authentic.

Musically, they hit hard and fast, with short, punchy songs and an irresistible live presence. They were everywhere – leaping off speaker stacks, crowd surfing, and wading into the pit. For a moment, the genteel Suffolk woodland transformed into the sweaty dancefloor of The Underworld in Camden.

Love them or not, Lambrini Girls delivered one of the most visceral, high-octane sets of the weekend. A chaotic, cathartic, unforgettable finale.
