Joyzine is delighted to be partnering with Lucida Records for their Electroniq night, which on 27th March will bring some of the UK’s finest (and weirdest) electronic artists to Camden’s legendary Dublin Castle.
The show will see sets from Movement 81, Leg Puppy 2.0 (launching their new First World Problems LP), punkdiSCO and nównøis. Tickets are on sale now – get yours here.
In the lead up to the event, we’re bringing you exclusive tracks from each of the performers, and following fantastic tunes from Leg Puppy 2.0, nównøis and punkdiSCO, today we’re delighted to bring you the first chance to hear a brand new song from headliners Movement 81.
Swansea-based electronic duo Movement 81 are comprised of artists Jason and Becky, whose originality and creative ambition stretches to the homemade modular lighting rig that forms the centrepiece of their live set up. Drawing on influences from ’80s indie synth and ’90s dance, they craft a sound that spans uplifting melodic techno to introspective minimalism, brought to life through immersive audiovisual performances and multimedia installations.
In the lead up to their headline show at Electroniq, they’ve written and recorded a brand new song, ‘Pattern’, which you can stream and download exclusively on Joyzine below:
Electroniq takes place at Dublin Castle, Camden on Friday 27th March.
Tickets, priced at £11 (including booking fee), are available here
