We’re teaming up once again with our favourite Croydonian noise peddlars Frauds to put on our fourth night of exquisite turbulence at our favourite local venue Hoodoo’s on this coming Friday 27th August.
As usual we’ve mixed up some of our favourite bands from the CR postcode with some great acts from out of town and we have another blinding line-up for you, if we do say so ourselves and you can enjoy for just £5 on the door.
Kicking us off are local math-rock duo Here Be Monsters, who feature THWGI alumni Electric Trees’ frontman Dan McKinnon and promise us anger, pain, fear, aggression and watercolours.
Next, South London trio Bugeye will be bringing their super sonic power chord punk mash up of Blondie vs. Pixies.
Main support for the night are Rat The Magnificent, a wine based power quartet from South London. A mix of obstinance and oblivion, this vox/geetar/geetar/bass/drum unit raised in Dorset have been blasting out for a year now. They feature members of Art Brut, Future of the Left, Sunshine Republic and THWGI #3 stars Hot Sauce Pony amongst their number.

And our headliners are none other than Brightonian psyche-pop-jazz-punk quartet Clever Thing, kicking up mean riffs & pretty harmonies in a sea of dark grooves. Featuring ex members of Bad For Lazarus, Pink Lizards & Atomic Kitten (no, seriously).
To Hell With Good Intentions #4 takes place on Frdiay 27th August at Hoodoo’s, Matthews Yard, Croydon CR0 1FF. Doors 8pm – 11.30, tickets £5 on the door.
