Live in Pictures: Rock Against Violence ft. Girli, Average Sex, Indian Queens + Petsematary at Oslo, Hackney
Last week saw the ninth annual Rock Against Violence show, which sees local bands put on a show to raise funds and awareness for Solace Women’s Aid, a charity dedicated to providing support to survivors of sexual and domestic abuse. This year’s show took place at Oslo in Hackney, and was headlined by pop-punk solo artist and mental health advocate Girli, who was joined on the line-up by power-pop five piece Average Sex, Hackney trio Indian Queens and PETSEMATARY whose sound is intriguingly described as ‘Bansheegaze’. Rupert Hitchcox was there to capture the action on camera.
