Public Service Broadcasting have long been known for the stunning audio-visual experience of their live shows, using archive video footage and audio clips to create evocative collages of sound and image. Having previously tackled topics from The Battle of Britain to the history of space travel and the rise and fall of the UK coal industry, their latest project Bright Magic shifts focus to Berlin, again evoking the spirit of the city through music and stock footage. Joyzine’s Ace Cheng was in Manchester to capture the show on camera, where they were ably supported by Norwegian singer-songwriter Eera, herself now based in the German capital.
