Dark psych trio Black Doldrums took their gothic post-punk sound to Camden Assembly, ably supported by South East London noise rockers Colour Me Blood Red (who count members of Joyzine faves The Sly Persuaders amongst their number) and The Dead Zoo’s mix of post-punk and dreampop, whose recent debut album Suspects was described Joyzine’s own Hayley Foster Da Silva as a “retro-futuristic, genre-smashing joyride” in her review.
Joyzine’s Rupert Hitchcox was there to capture the night’s action on camera.
