We’re onto day four of The Joyzine Advent Calendar, and today we have the first festive offering amongst our towering pile of musical gifts.
Christmas is a time for tradition and catching up with old friends, and one longstanding institution of The Joyzine Advent Calendar has been Piney Gir‘s annual Christmas song. With fellow calendar perennial Chris T-T announcing his musical retirement earlier this year, Piney has now featured on more of our festive free-for-alls than any other artist and she’s come up with another seasonal stormer this year with a shimmering take on new year’s classic ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
