It’s day three of the Joyzine Advent Calendar and it’s time for something completely different.
We were fortunate enough to catch Berlin-based strings duo Mein Haus abusing their instruments as they supported Thomas Truax at Paper Dress Vintage earlier this year (check out the review here). The combination of violent chaos and nerve-shredding tension was unlike anything that we’ve come across this year and their performance was utterly mesmerising, shredding any preconceptions of how violin and cello should sound.
Today they’ve provided ‘Skin and Blista’ from their 2017 EP Do You Think I’m Blind, which is available on CD and digital download from their Bandcamp page.
