Over the past 12 months we have been celebrating 20 years of Joyzine with a series of gigs and compilation albums, and this Friday we’re ending the celebrations with a bang – Volume 3 of our 20 Years of Joy series will feature exclusive tracks from an astonishing 32 of our favourite bands and artists, and will be released via Bandcamp with all money raised donated to HOPE not hate, whose excellent work opposing the far right has rarely been more important than right now. Even better, it’s Bandcamp Friday, so 100% of your cash will go to this vital cause.
Bands featured on the record include Art Brut frontman Eddie Argos’ band Art Goblins, rhythm ‘n’ blues punk cult heroes King Salami & The Cumberland Three, long-standing Joyzine faves Subliminal Girls, Joe Gideon (with Bad Seed Jim Sclavunos on drums & percussion) and The Fades alongside many, many more wonderful artists.
