Lucida Records have been running their all-electronic nights for a few years now, building a strong reputation as the go-to events for fans of alternative electronica. The Dublin Castle, a venue usually associated with guitar bands transforms into an audio-visual showcase for cutting edge electronic acts.
Electroniq – November Edition
House band Leg Puppy 2.0 kicked off the night in classic Leg Puppy 2.0 style. Performing their entire new album Music for the TikTok Generation in full, all 12 tracks, at just two seconds each, at 24 seconds, setting a new world record for the shortest electronic gig ever.
RaraBlue followed with an intimate, story-driven performance. Choosing to sit centre stage, she took full control of her surroundings, drawing the audience into her world from the very first note. Her set blended heartfelt narration with Jack Hollywood’s stunning live visuals, building a dreamlike atmosphere that felt both personal and cinematic. The music was tender and immersive, carried by beautiful ethereal vocals that floated through the venue, adding a unique layer to her otherworldly electronica.

Celyn of Gwent took to the stage next. A photographer’s dream. Dressed in PVC with a tie, bringing a striking look that felt like a goth take on Gary Numan. With a confident stage presence, the performance unfolded like theatre: evocative, avant-garde and boldly experimental. With hauntingly beautiful vocals added real depth to the set, making this a perfect Electroniq perfomance.
A standout moment came with Agony of Rapture, delivered with power and atmosphere, a clear highlight in an already brilliantly immersive performance.

The stage was set for a full Leg Puppy 2.0 assault. Few bands would dare to open with Tales of the Unexpected as their intro music, with all three members performing the iconic dance as visuals from the TV show flickered behind them. It was a perfect signal of what was to come.
Leg Puppy 2.0 are masters of the unpredictable. Their shows blend sharp social commentary with soulful trip-hop grooves and a fearless sense of theatre. They kicked off hard with “Linkedin Lick Ars,” a homage to Joey Beltram’s Energy Flash, with lyrics pulled straight from actual LinkedIn posts.
They were joined onstage by one of the year’s standout artists, Nownois, who lent vocals to two tracks from LP2’s 2018 debut. The set closed with Phone Twat, a classic example of how Leg Puppy 2.0 consistently tap into the everyday frustrations that drive people mad and turn them into cathartic electronic anthems.

Headliners Radarbase took to the stage with the confidence of a band already on the rise. It quickly became clear they’ve built a solid following, crowd members were singing along to every track, word for word. The energy in the room was electric.
Radarbase have a real talent for crafting addictive, sing-along earworms. People Seem Evil stood out as a true anthem, while Take Me to Your Leader had the whole room moving. Their sound blends danceable pop hooks with a dash of Reverend and the Makers-style, hands-in-the-air euphoria, smart, catchy, and made for festivals.
With BBC Radio 1 airplay already under their belt, Radarbase are clearly gaining momentum. Definitely ones to watch.
