On the twelfth day of Advent, the Joyzine Advent Calendar gives to thee… a crocodile.
Two in fact, courtesy of the lovely people at Crocodile RCRDS. The London based independent label released music by Lust, Big Sister and Hatcham Social in 2015 and plans are afoot for plenty more in the new year. Sample their wares at crocodilercrds.bandcamp.com
Crocodile has been home to a wealth of talent over the past few years and brought together some of the finest, along with a few friends, for a festive collaboration.
‘Crocodile Christmas (Even a Rebel Needs Someone to Be Kind)’ features Al Spx ( Cold Specks), Big Sister, Hatcham Social, Desperate Journalist, Amy Studt, Tyler Mckeown ( Trans/Yummy Fur/1990s), Terrible Eyes and Easy Tigers and you can download it here.
Label founders Hatcham Social released their fourth album, the sci-fi themed psychedelic art-pop odyssey The Birthday of the World on Crocodile earlier this year and we have a track from it for you today.
The band are currently embarking on a European tour, taking in dates in Germany, The Netherlands, France and Italy. To get you in the mood for those, download ‘Our Love Will Carry Us Through The Stars (Song for Joanna)’ here.
