Yesterday’s Advent Claendar featured a tantalising trio of treats from The Fades, Lark and The Reverse – you can still download them here. Today we’re getting experimental.
As always, the tracks are completely free to to download and there’s no need to sign up to any mailing lists to access the tracks (though if you’d like to you can join ours here), but with the UK’s independent music venues in peril following almost a year of covid restrictions, we’d love you to make a donation to the Music Venue Trust‘s #saveourvenues campaign if you enjoy these tracks. You can make a donation to the fund, or to a specific venue of your choice here.
Described as “Like a washed out Suicide or noise Yo La Tengo” by Owen Chambers, Omni Bael bring their fuzzed up guitar and tape experiements to today’s calendar window.
Currently recording for a split release with New York-based Lip Critic in the new year, as well as a live streaming show on Christmas day (details here), they’ve provided us with the crunchy beats and crackly production of ‘Filthy Lucre’, a home recorded demo of a new track.
Their first EP OM was released via Liquid Library and is available on Bandcamp.
