We’re two weeks in to this year’s Advent Calendar with another fantastic free download from one of our favourite artists for you today.
Yesterday we featured an exclusive free download from Fightmilk, whose drummer Nick turned out for Team Joyzine at the Soccer Six music & football festival. Today we have a track from another teammate, Dexy, who released his debut album Tear It Down earlier this year.
A Joyzine regular, Dexy has performed at several of our live events over the years as well as appearing a number of times as a guest on The Joyzine Radio Show, most recently in July (podcast here) when he came to talk about the LP, from which today’s track ‘Broken Fixtures’ is taken.
Since then Dexy’s been busy in the studio working on a follow-up, with a new single to be announced soon, and will be heading out on tour with The Wedding Present in February.
