We’ve a week to go on the 14th edition of The Joyzine Advent Calendar and today we bring you a track from a band resurrected in 2017.
Back in August the lovely people at The Zine put on their Music Social at The Amersham Arms in New Cross, and we were delighted to see Medway garage punks Mourning Birds, who had called it a day a year previously, on the bill. Re-energised with new frontman Screaming Tommy B added to the line-up, it was like they’d never been away.
The band are recording a new single in January, with an EP scheduled for later in the year and will round of 2017 with a show for Modern Age Music with False Heads at Venue 229 on Great Portland Street on 22nd December. Today they’ve given us an old favourite ‘Kill What You Want’ for your free downloading pleasure.
