We’ve reached halfway on the 2018 Joyzine Advent Calendar and we’ve yet another splendid seasonal treat for you behind window number 12.
Matt Edible is amongst the select few artists to have featured in the very first edition of Joyzine back in 2003 and to still be appearing within these pages fifteen years later. Back then he was fronting The Edible Five Foot Smiths, but more recently he’s released a new album Stairgazing with his band The Obtuse Angels.
The album, which is available on Vinyl & CD or as a digital download from their Bandcamp page, includes this festive ditty with an unusually hirsute solution to the December break-up blues.
