Another day closer to Christmas, another fantastic free exclusive track on The Joyzine Advent Calendar.
By reckoning the members of Menaces, who provide today’s free download treat, have racked up Advent Calendar appearances with at least half a dozen previous bands, but far from being mere spirits of Christmas past, they’re blasting us into the future with an exclusive festive mix of a track from their forthcoming EP, due at an as yet unspecified point in the new year.
The Christmas Magic mix of ‘I Was Promised Magic’ adds a Santa’s sack full of sleighbells to the gently strummed guitar, haunting backing vocals and twinkling keys the provide the backdrop to Dom Green’s lead vocal.
